Grace in Small Things
1. A cold, rainy day. Honestly, I don't hate it. (as I typed that, it started to hail, which is a bit much. But I'll still take it)
2. Trevor gets to go talk shop at an industry workshop.
3. I pulled a great card on the weekend, The Star. The lesson was so timely that it has stayed with me for days.
4. I managed to find four more jugs of grapefruit juice (white, NOT pink) at Safeway.
5. I'm going to Cuppa T later. Big, thirsty pregnant lady need loose leaf Honeybush tea NOW.

Grace in Small Things
1. Even though it's complicated and frustrating and still not fully approved, at least I qualify for EI Mat Leave.
2. After a miserable, snowy start to the week, it's a bright, sunny day.
3. I'm looking forward to having a laugh at Sally Elliot's class tonight. Who knew childbirth prep could be entertaining?
4. City Homicide.
5. Scheduler says I have a clear day. Tarot and Anatomy!

Grace in Small Things
Okay, I am grumpy this morning so it’s definitely time for GiST. Why so grumpy? I slept poorly due to the pain in my ass. Actually, my groin. This is going on 2-3 months of acute groin pain and I'm irritated.
I thought it was related to sciatic pain, which I’ve had plenty. But I cured that with this support belt (which I HIGHLY recommend - $37 at Jolly's). The one-sided nature of the pain suggests to me an actual groin pull, rather than, say, Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction. But what do I know. SPD could very well be one-sided. Whatever it is, it sucks and it’s starting to affect so much of what I need to do in a day (sleep, stand up, walk), all of my remedies aren't working (Acupuncture, Reflexology, stretching, plenty of rest) that I’m thinking it might be time visit the doctor?
Then I imagine the waiting room and her inevitable response (drugs) and I get grumpy.
Meanwhile, an attitude adjustment couldn’t hurt, right?
1. Wet cedar deck after the rain.
2. Trevor’s thumbs digging into tight shoulder muscles.
3. Brand new Honeybush Roiboos from Cuppa-T on 13th.
4. My sister getting much needed foot surgery today and choosing me to be the one to pick her up and get her home. I like being needed by someone who usually doesn’t need much.
5. The notion that I should make a batch of fresh muffins for when Naomi visits. Round two, this time with the required buttermilk.

Grace in Small Things
1. Dear friends who came over and watched BSG with us, and who were clearly into it as much as we were.
2. The special BSG meal Trev cooked, which means there is leftover vegetarian linguine in the fridge.
3. Discovering that there are leftover kalamata olives! I'm absolutely going to super-load my linguine.
4. A leftover cupcake to have after leftover linguine. Don't tell James.
5. Getting treats from the UK in the mail from my mom.
6. (An extra one because it was my birthday) the fact that all my family (in-laws included) came together to make me feel so special all weekend.

Grace in Small Things
- My SIGG bottle and the fact that the tap water at CBC always seems to run quite cold.
- Finding the box with most of my favourite books.
- Finally finding the file with all my tax documents.
- Getting rides to work from Trevor, who starts the car, too!
- The fact that even though it’s minus %$&*'ing 40 again, the sun is shining. Yes it is.

Grace in Small Things
I must look haunted today because several people have asked what’s wrong. Even Trevor asked when he just called, so I even sound haunted. It’s weird when your face portrays an emotion inconsistent with how you really feel. Now I’m questioning myself: am I haunted?
Well, maybe a little. And what cures a case of the haunts? Grace in Small Things!
1. New-to-us couch and chair that MIGHT be in our possession tomorrow! Provided the truck starts and the couch is actually ‘as seen in picture’.
2. No-VOC paint from Rona! Soon to be on our office walls!
3. Kicks from the kidlet in my belly.
4. Remembering that I have an A.R.T. appointment tomorrow.
5. Crossfit in two hours. I'm so glad it's still a craving.

6X365 Grace In Small Things
1. The heavy, warm weight of the cat against my legs on a particularly cold night.
2. The sound of the dog snoring.
3. The way the cat sits across from me at breakfast, only his ears and eyes visible over the table.
4. The way the dog rips through the fresh snow like she's trying to take in every part of it.
5. The sound of Trevor coming home.
