So it wasn't really taking away from anything.

(And yet, I still managed to speed through them. Honestly, the JW library basically replaced books for eight months straight)

I just can't be trusted. Cold turkey, then a gradual introduction of quality programming.Amaliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11348244857829524044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17807669.post-34889001307426731692008-06-23T21:33:00.000-06:002008-06-23T21:33:00.000-06:00Everything good comes out on DVD anyway...how long...Everything good comes out on DVD anyway...how long did it take you to watch Buffy? Tarot's one of the big ones. I'm kind of excited, actually.Amaliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11348244857829524044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17807669.post-16306877938919005182008-06-23T10:32:00.000-06:002008-06-23T10:32:00.000-06:00Oh my God, I'm shocked! I mean, you're likely going to end up watching all kinds of crap on over the air channels (like Maria.)

A person needs a hobby. I avoided the whole reality craze because I knew it was stupid yet everyone got addicted to it. Thus, I avoided it like I avoid crack.

And this realization: you were but a pre-pubescent tot when the Simpsons went on the air. I was an adult (physically.) And you couldn't even watch it at first!

Might I suggest gardening when/if you move into your house on the prairies? I've discovered the joy of weeding this year (after eight years of trying to grow a flower bed.) That's what gardeners do, they weed. Maybe five per cent watering, and some time tilling and planting, but it's mostly weeding.

But there is joy in weeding. One becomes closer to the Earth. And it's satisfying to, essentially, get to conduct your own genocide. It's just human nature.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
